- Process payments and manage subscriptions

4. Firebase & Third-Party Technologies
We use Firebase (by Google) for authentication, data storage, and analytics. Firebase may collect and store data according to its own privacy practices.
You may also be subject to Google's and Apple's platform-level data policies when using our App.
5. SMS Data Collection and Usage
When you communicate with Minutemen via SMS, we collect and store:
- Your phone number
- The content of messages sent and received
- Timestamps of communications
- Booking and transaction details initiated via SMS
This data is used to facilitate service bookings, provide customer support, and improve our automated messaging systems. SMS conversations are stored securely and associated with your user account.
We use Twilio, a third-party communications provider, to send and receive SMS messages. Your phone number and message content are transmitted through Twilio's platform and are subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or SMS data to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. AI Data Processing
Minutemen uses OpenAI's technology to power AI-assisted features including SMS booking assistance and in-app help chat. When you interact with these features, the following data may be shared with OpenAI for processing:
- Your messages and inquiries
- Relevant account information (name, service history, booking details)
- Location and address information necessary to fulfill service requests
This data is sent to OpenAI solely for the purpose of generating responses to your inquiries and facilitating service transactions. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. OpenAI's handling of data transmitted through their API is governed by OpenAI's API Data Usage Policy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above, or as required by law. SMS conversation history and AI interaction logs are retained for as long as necessary to provide our services and support dispute resolution.

8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
