1. Eligibility
To use the App, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. User Accounts
To book services, you must register using your phone number. You may optionally provide your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for any activity that occurs under it.
3. Services
Minutemen offers mobile car wash services at users' home or work locations within the state of Nevada. Services are subject to availability and may vary based on your location and the time of booking.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
We charge fees for our services. Payment is required at the time of booking through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Subscription packages may be offered and governed by separate terms outlined at the time of purchase.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a fee of up to 20% of the service total.
Disputes regarding service quality must be submitted within 48 hours of the service completion.
Refunds or credits, if any, will be issued at our sole discretion.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the App or interfere with the delivery of our services. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or disrupt operations.
7. Reviews and Chat
You may leave reviews and communicate via in-app chat. You agree not to post offensive, illegal, or misleading content. We may moderate or remove any content at our discretion.
8. SMS Communications
By providing your phone number and using our services, you consent to receive SMS messages from Minutemen related to service bookings, confirmations, reminders, and customer support. SMS messages are sent and received through Twilio, a third-party communications provider.
You may opt out of non-essential SMS communications at any time by contacting us at support@minutemenllc.com. Standard message and data rates may apply.
9. AI-Assisted Features
Minutemen uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to assist with SMS booking interactions and in-app help chat. AI-generated responses are provided for convenience and may not always be fully accurate.
By using these features, you acknowledge that your messages and relevant account information may be processed by OpenAI to generate responses. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. You should not share sensitive personal information (such as passwords or financial details) through AI-assisted chat features.
10. Liability & Damages
Minutemen is not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen items left in your vehicle. Please remove all valuables before service.
- Existing damages or defects on your vehicle.
- Damages that may be worsened by standard cleaning processes (e.g., cracked windows that expand due to water).
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
11. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS communications, OpenAI for AI-assisted features, and Firebase for app infrastructure and data storage. Your use of the App also constitutes your agreement to their respective terms and privacy policies.
12. Privacy
We collect personal information such as your name, email address, and service location. Our use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
14. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Minutemen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App or our services.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
